Toddler Program (18 months to 3 years old)
We offer English and Mandarin bilingual programs to toddlers ages 18 months old to 3 years old. Children who are not fully potting trained between ages 2 to 3 are considered toddlers. Differing from the educational-based program for preschoolers, our toddler program is a child-centered, play-based learning approach. iCare emphasizes that each child is a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and learning pace. Activities and experiences are tailored to meet the development needs and interests of each child. Our goal for toddler learning is to help them build up self-consciousness, confidence, and establish the ability in practical life in order to be ready for preschool.
Preschool Program (3 to 4 years old)
We offer English, Mandarin, and Spanish trilingual programs to children ages 3 years to 4 years old. Children have the opportunities to investigate, extend their sense of wonder, experience success, develop a positive attitude towards learning, and become physically independent. In language development, children will learn to create pictures to convey thoughts or feelings and experiment using symbols and patterns engaging in early attempts at writing.
Pre-K/Transitional Kindergarten (4 to 5 years old)
We offer English, Mandarin, and Spanish trilingual programs to our pre-K and transitional kindergartners. This program is designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten. Children will learn English curriculum integrated with science, social studies, and technology. At the same time, our pre-K and transitional kindergartners expand their Mandarin and Spanish language skills, showing evidence of a growing vocabulary, listening, and conversational skills. They express thoughts, ideas, and feelings with increasing confidence and fluency.
